It’s a tradition that started with Eugene “Pappy” Dalton, a World War II veteran, returned home ignited by a new purpose. Fueled by his construction skills and integrity, he laid the foundation for a family legacy in the hardscape industry and became the first paving company owner in the Dalton family. Pappy’s dedication to hard work and craftsmanship became our guiding principles, long before “paving company near me” was a thing.
Years later, Pappy’s son, Dan Dalton, carried the torch, adding his own excellence to the paving company his father started. Dan’s commitment to quality, coupled with his service as a respected first responder, forged a deep community bond.
During these crucial years, Dalton Construction’s essence was shaped. Pappy and Dan instilled a commitment to excellence that defined our identity, far beyond a local paving company in Dallas-Fort Worth.
With the third generation, Alex Dalton, a dynamic force, joined the ranks to continue the legacy of his father and grandfather before him. A University of Oklahoma graduate and former scholar-athlete, Alex channeled his family’s legacy and passion as a local paving company into crafting breathtaking outdoor spaces, outdoor kitchens, pergolas and more.
This marked the birth of the “Dalton Gang,” a team united by a shared passion for construction. Today, we tirelessly transform visions into reality, fueled by heritage, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to our craft.
